About this plot
This plot shows the beta estimates or hazard ratios from Cox-proportional hazard models using plasma metabolite levels as the exposure and the risk of 27 diseases (ICD-10 codes) and all-cause mortality (sex-adjusted as well as stratified by sex; >20 years of follow-up).
Whiskers indicate ± 2 standard errors (beta estimates) or 95% confidence intervals (hazard ratios). Black squares indicate significant associations, light boxes non-significant ones according to the significance threshold set in the "Settings".
